Hi, I’m Ash, the flower lady and owner of Film & Foliage. We are a Newcastle based floral design company. Our floristry is intuitive and creative inhibiting the wild and organic nature of flowers, we create naturally fascinating and textured designs. A perfect match for the adventurous, nature-loving bride, we specialize in weddings and elopements and flourish within the wilderness. Film and Foliage provides richly layered and wildly beautiful accompaniments to vast, natural environments in our area of the Hunter Valley as well as the Blue Mountains, Tasmania and New Zealand and beyond. We like to find beauty in forgotten foliage, unique blooms and sometimes personally forage from the wilderness to contribute wild texture to arrangements. When creating Film and Foliage, I’ve combined my formal training with an immeasurable imagination to create arrangements of innate and primitive beauty focusing on seasonal florals, strong color palettes, organic lines, dried flora and a strong focus on eco practices. We ensure a relaxed experience due to our extensive experience of over 300 weddings, providing ease and trust for our clients.
