Packaging and Presentation Systems for Cut Flowers
Pagter Innovations develops and produces innovative packaging systems for cut flowers in water for the entire chain from producer to consumer. It is our aim to help growers, traders, and retailers all over the world to retain the quality in the chain, to improve the presentation of flowers, and where possible to lower the costs of packaging and transport.
Procona
Procona is the most sustainable retail ready concept for cut flowers Procona® keeps flowers fresh from producer to consumer. Moreover, Procona is sustainable and efficient. The solid Procona container can be used and returned many times. Because of the rectangular shape and perfect stackability, they have a better loading capacity than round buckets. Cut flowers in Procona have hydration and ventilation during transport and are better protected. This results in less waste of flowers. 
Valencia
The Valencia, the largest container in the Procona range (dimensions: 30 x 40 cm and 25 and 35 high), is the ideal choice for growers, exporters/importers, and wholesalers. The flowers are presented perfectly and can be sold directly from the container, without having to repack and/or cut the stems. Standard colors black and white.
Amsterdam
Amsterdam containers are as big as the Valencia containers (dimensions: 30 x 40 cm and 25 and 35 high) and are intended for intensive use. They are sturdier and more robust, making them extremely suitable for internal transport at the nursery and for intensive use in a rotation system. Standard colors green and white.
London
The London, the medium-large container in the Procona assortment (dimensions 30 x 33 cm, 25, 30, and 35 high), is the ideal choice for use in supermarkets. “Retail Ready”: the flowers are presented perfectly and can be sold directly from the container without having to repack or cut the flowers. The London containers can contain enough flowers to guarantee a lovely rich presentation. Standard color black.
Florida
The Florida, the smallest container in the Procona assortment (dimensions 24 x 30 cm and 18, 25, and 35 high), is the ideal choice for use in smaller supermarkets and flower shops. The flowers are presented perfectly and can be sold directly from the container without having to repack or cut the flowers. Standard colors black and white.
Procona Collars
The collars are available in corrugated cardboard and plastic. Both materials can be recycled. The corrugated cardboard collars are for single-use only. Plastic collars are recommended for situations in which moisture may play a role, during sea transport for example. These collars can be rotated a number of times. In addition to being a part of the stackable system, the collar also protects your flowers during transport.
The rims and sides of Procona containers can be printed in a single color with your logo, company name, or a unique barcode, QR-code, or matrix code for traceability. The collars and lids can also be personalized.
Procona containers can be combined with a Top frame which increases the container height by 25 cm. The perfect way to present long-stemmed flowers!
The partition can be placed to the edge of the Procona container to ensure the last few bunches in the container remain upright and perfectly presented.
Procona sponges are available for transport by air when ‘free’ water is not an option. Using this sponge, flowers can remain hydrated under cooled conditions for 1-2 days.
Displays
We offer a range of smart displays for an optimal presentation of cut flowers and potted plants. Using 3D animation, we visualize a shop layout for every floor space, that helps promote sales.
Madeira Display
The Madeira display system consists of three basic elements; a center rack of 120 cm, a center rack of 60 cm, and an end quad. You can combine these elements in any way that you desire. This makes it possible to adjust the size of the display to the available shop space. The Proconas are slightly tilted when they are suspended in the hoops, so the flowers ‘directly face the customer.’ You can adjust the number of cut flowers or choose a different layout for potted plants at any time, so your customers will always see a full display. Each hoop comes with a price cardholder.
Both the center racks and the quads of the Madeira display can be fitted with shelves for potted plants. These shelves can be combined with holders for Procona containers or round buckets. The shelves of the center racks come with price cardholders.
Use the Trio hoop to create the perfect display, even in inconvenient corners.
Pico & Bali Display
The Pico and Bali displays are very compact and enable you to present a lot of flowers on a small surface area. The Pico display accommodates up to 4 Procona containers (all models) and round buckets. The Bali display can accommodate 6 Procona containers (all models) or round buckets with flowers. With the matching shelves, the Bali display is easy to set up for potted plants or a combination of flowers and plants.
Samos Display
The Samos display can accommodate 4 Valencia or London containers or 6 Florida containers. It is also possible to place shelves for potted plants on the display. The shelves can be combined with the Procona containers. This makes the Samos display suitable for cut flowers, potted plants, or a combination of both.
Porto
Fly or mail your (online) flowers with water, so they arrive fresh!
Porto is the ideal package for online business and for exporters who want to send flowers in water in dry boxes. With Porto, you can send flowers in a vertical, horizontal position and even upside down in the water. PortoVase
PortoVase is a gift packaging for transporting cut flowers in water. The PortoVase allows you to transport a bouquet horizontally (even upside down) without the water running out. The PortoVase is easy to fill and keeps the bouquet securely in place during transport. Upon arrival, the bouquet is ready to be enjoyed without cutting stems or re-arranging. The PortoVase can be re-used a normal vase for many times.
