The COVID-19 pandemic didn't scare Mike to start his business, the opportunity was there and he took it. Working for himself gave him great fulfillment so far:

Mike:

"It's not a nine to five job, and it's a lot of work, but I'm happy with it."

For him it's important he is able to give a proper service to his clients. That's the goal, working together is growing together. He is extremely grateful for all his contacts in the flower industry he could count on, without them it would not have been possible.

Q: In these challenging times with the pandemic, you still decided to start your own business, what motivated you to do that? What is the biggest challenge these days in our industry?

Mike:

"This was my dream for fifteen years and now I got the opportunity. And I see that there is a lot of demand to order with a smaller company because of higher service. And that quality always wins."

Q: If you could give some advice to florists, what would that be? 

Mike: 

"My advice is to stick to your vision and don't compete with supermarkets. In the end, consumers still want quality and service. And talk with each other because together you reach more."
