On the banks of the river IJ Sony Music has found their place in Amsterdam alongside institutions like Massive Music, Wink, and Gibson. The recently renovated iconic 1960s building was completely stripped to the concrete to be re-designed and re-innovated by Space Encounters, Office for Architecture.

In the design there are places for work, and places for play, each in grey and green, nothing in between. This way, one can be fully focused at work, or fully relaxed and at play.

For this planting, Het Groenlab chose pots and plants that give the separate spaces a personal touch and warmth. The planting design reflected the grey and green interior design by adding plants in these colors. In the green spaces plants with dark green leaves, and plants with intense green leaves touched with dark purple where combined with green colored concrete pots and heavy green marble pillars.

In the grey spaces, plants with grey-green leaves, plant varieties with white and green leaves, and plants with pink touches emphasize the character of the spaces.
