Kawachi Wisteria Garden
Flower enthusiasts come from all over the world to see the Kawachi Fuji Gardens, tucked away in the mountains south of Kitakyushu. The history of Kawachi Wisteria began with a boy's dream that the founder, Masao Higuchi, was impressed by a book he read when he was in elementary school and wanted to leave proof that he lived in this world. Masao's dream of leaving behind proof became a family dream from this time, resulting in 1977 in the opening of Kawachi Wisteria Garden.
