Nancy Harvey is the owner and creative mind of Holiday House, a prominent floral design and events coordination firm. Holiday House creates with your vision in mind. It starts with you: understanding what you need, so we can offer you options that make your event stunning yet within reach. Nancy's talent as a designer brings a unique and striking elegance to each of her individual creations that enhance the total ambiance of any special event. The empathy she learned for caring for a loved one enhanced her love of flowers and nature.
Events Are Like Movies
"Events are like movies," said Nancy. "We create for a mood with a cause and want to transport the partygoer to another world just for a few hours." Flowers, greenery, and lighting are our tools to create that world. We make events to remember. Events such as Ruby Renaissance, Black Opal, Emerald Elegance and Bayou Ball, and Escape to The Caribbean are just a few. In 2018 Nancy married Xandy Smith who is a landscaper and partner in Holiday House. Holiday House is based on beautiful Roanoke Island and continues to create for events, and weddings, and promote green living.
