Honey Highway is an initiative through which the roadsides of national roads, provincial roads, railways and dikes are sown on multi-year regional wild Honey Highway flower seeds related to the soil type and circumstances. They are maintained in such a way that a natural balance is created. So that bees can collect enough food over the longest possible period to allow wintering. Primary school children and students are involved in sowing. They have the knowledge for a permanent paradise for bees.
Honey Highway is founded and pursued with incredible energy and passion by Deborah Post. Her work is groundbreaking in the true sense of the word - vast reaches of barren ground is broken to plant flowers and herbs that nourish the bees. Deborah's mission is to turn her country into a showcase for transforming landscapes to benefit the bees and all other pollinators.
Thursd also strives for a (floral) world that is as transparent and good as possible. That is why Thursd donates a fixed part of every euro spent on this platform to Honey Highway. Together we make a better (floral) world! https://www.facebook.com/learningfromthebees/videos/412219752534782/
