Flowers that Last in Time
I love chrysanthemums, the small ones, the round ones, the simple ones, the hairy ones, the chubby ones... I am a florist who loves "flowers that last in time." Nothing like a bouquet of chrysanthemums to make me happy!
The Essence of the Sun
Although we use it frequently for mourning and to celebrate the dead, I prefer its symbolism in the Chinese language which means "the essence of the sun". It is a luminous flower, which always offers us an interesting challenge when we want to put it in a bouquet.
Inspired by Paul Gorbenko
I am a fan of the chrysanthemum compositions of Paul Gorbenko, this Russian Master Florist, who makes sublime creations with these flowers. I am regularly inspired by his work, which is both very technical and full of fluidity.
A Bit of Andy Warhol
As you can see in the images I really had fun making all the arrangements. I even want to give you a little bit of Andy Warhol in the end...
Pina Colada
In these arrangements, I used the Pina Colada chrysanthemum
white and
cream by
Fred van Paassen and the
Yellow Pina Colada variety by
Zentoo.
