Check out all the products seen by me, Peter van Delft, on the Aalsmeer market in the Netherlands, the world's largest display of flowers and plants.
Every day I look around at trader Barendsen Flowers at Royal FloraHolland Aalsmeer, the world's largest flower auction. With an auction of around 34.5 million flowers and plants a day, I like to spot novelties and special products that are new and/or just coming into production.
What did I see in week 40, 2019?
Dahlia Gelber Vulcan from Dutch grower Mts. Van der Linden en Zoon.
This is Rosehip from Stokman Rosefruits
Celosia Argentea (Cristata) 'Rocking Choc' from Dutch grower Van Geest Flowers.
Ilex Verboom Gold, a super autumn color by grower Emiel de Jong from Boskoop in the Netherlands
Moby Dick Pines? That's a strange name.... from importer Vrolijk
Rose Byzantine from grower Omang from Kenya.
And last but not least, Asclepias 'Herong King' mix from importer/grower Marginpar.
