Floral Designs Roses Special Days
Halloween design using Red Rose Naomi

Working with flowers brings me into contact, time after time with interesting people and inspiring projects to broaden the creativity in my mind as well. This September, I was lucky enough to work with the extraordinary Rose Red Naomi, leaving me quite impressed at first glance. It's a rose worthy of admiration and gives any floral designer/florist the possibility of creating great and artistic designs for any season or celebration such is my case for the occasion, as I created designs for a bold, deep Halloweenistic party.

Actually in Moldova, we do not celebrate Halloween as brightly and wildly as in the US and European countries. We do not have a tradition of children going door to door on this night and asking for "Trick or Treats". But restaurants and crowded places are always decorated with pumpkins, ghosts, skulls, and spider webs. Sometimes parties are honoring the holiday with masks and scary costumes. And this inspired me to create these floral designs for Halloween.

My Love For Red Roses by Porta Nova

Wauw, what a quality this is! Porta Nova—the creators of these wondrous red roses—specializes in growing this variety, making them the largest producer of these flowers in the world. The company's nursery in the Netherlands has modern and environmentally friendly greenhouses where about sixty million flowers are grown annually. It was my first time working with them and I was very impressed by their quality. The roses sent to me had a rich deep red color and fresh elastic leaves and buds while arriving neatly and tightly packed in branded boxes.

To add a bit more detail to my content with the arrival of these roses, the boxes had the name Porta Nova written on them and the company's logo which included the infinity sign. Focusing on the endless and continuous process of improving the quality of the flower (from growing in the nursery to packaging and receiving by the end consumer), as well as making better the world around us, using modern technologies for gasless growing flowers and natural methods to control diseases and harmful organisms. It's now time to share more of my experience creating several designs for Halloween so you can get inspired to create spooktacular designs!

Halloween Looks Bold and Spooky With Red Rose Naomi

With their velvety petals of a bright saturated red color with a very beautiful cup on its bud, these roses are the perfect choice given my inspiration. All Saints' Day and Halloween are approximating, time to design with spiders and skulls.

Beautiful flowers, as if they are dotted with blood, became bright accents against the background of the pale face of a female model as if 'coming from the afterworld'.

Rose Red Naomi for Halloween designs

I created a head accessory, a hand bouquet, and a table arrangement using these bright red roses, each of which is a work of art. One thing is for sure... These red roses cannot go unnoticed. They attract the viewer's attention and make you want to look at the design objects again and again.

Every flower is a story. Halloween originated from the ancient Celtic festival, celebrated on October 31 to mark the end of the harvest and the start of winter. Celts believed that on this night, the boundary between the living and the dead blurred, and spirits could roam the earth. To ward them off, people lit bonfires and wore costumes. When Christianity spread, the festival became All Hallows’ Eve, preceding All Saints' Day on November 1. Hope I have inspired you to work with these Porta Nova Red Naomi Roses for these special days.

I am grateful for the opportunity to be involved in projects where I can grow as a creative person and a tireless enthusiast who seeks new adventures and experiences in the field of floristry and art.

Until we create again,

Love, Anna.
