About the Designer: Beata Kaas Beata Kaas is the founder and lead designer of Kaas Floral Design, a Toronto-based concept studio known for its architecturally inspired floral work, sculptural installations, and innovative use of natural materials. Born in Gdańsk, Poland, and educated in Europe and Canada, Beata combines European artistic sensitivity with a design philosophy shaped by the cultural richness, pace, and creative energy of Toronto.
Her practice spans weddings, large-scale installations, editorial projects, international exhibitions, and seasonal design, with a particular passion for winter compositions, bespoke hand-built structures, and floral jewelry. Beata is recognized for her distinctive approach: balancing asymmetry, texture, and negative space with a strong emotional narrative.
She is a graduate of the European Master Certification (EMC) program, a Humber College Floral Design Honors graduate, and has studied under renowned designers Tomas De Bruyne and Hitomi Gilliam. Beata regularly participates in European and North American floral festivals, including exhibitions in Poland, Lithuania, Belgium, and Canada.
