What brought our founder, Max Pollack, to Albuquerque in 1944? The answer is simple: the weather! Peoples Flowers had its beginnings in downtown Albuquerque, and in the early 1960s, a second location opened its doors. Max oversaw a wholesale division to ensure a constant supply of the finest flowers and plants for Peoples Flowers.
A Family-Owned and Operated Business
In 1980, Max's son joined the ranks and expanded the business to include four convenient locations, all dedicated to serving the community. Today, Peoples Flowers remains a family-owned and operated business under the McCarthy Family, a fourth-generation florist and long-time friends of the Pollacks.
