In May 2020, in the midst of the first wave of COVID-19 lockdowns director Leanne Kesler of Floral Design Institute noted a not only negativeness. When asked which inspiring new initiatives she had seen in the industry, she explained how her floral school was going online more and more: "The rapid development of innovative no-contact flower delivery. Simple, safe fast, and beautiful… Inspirational floral designer group support, discussion, and training via social media, Wirecast, and Zoom."
YouTube is one platform where these online initiatives happen. Teacher Michelle Headrick has the floor.
