Every day I look around at trader Barendsen Flowers at the Royal Flora Holland Aalsmeer, the world's largest flower auction. With an auction of around 34,5 million flowers and plants a day, I like to spot novelties and special products that are new and/or just coming in production.
What did I see in week 19, 2020? The first 'Freiland' roses. A lot of summer flowers. Enjoy! Freiland roses season has sprung! From Gartenbau Franz Heyer in Germany come these amazing Mariatheresia roses. Quite an old rose. The rose is super scented and originally bred by Tantau.
As big as a bowling ball? Almost! look at these poppies from Kralt Nursery.
Helipterum Roseum, very trendy nowadays with the dried flower trend.
What do you think of these gilias? They come from grower C. van Delft.
Now we move to the amazing euphorbia Purpurea from grower West-End Flowers.

Hydrangea's on the menu this week. These come from grower Sies - van der Spek.
We don't stop here, this is Aquilegia in the mix from grower Perfors.
This beauty of a Rose is called Femke. From Grower van Seters. Femke is a spray rose 🌹and named after my daughter. 😉
Ever seen this type of Amarantus? She's a beauty, isn't she?
