telipogon-diabolicus-product-on-thursd-header

The Telipogon Diabolicus is the most recently discovered orchid species from the Colombian jungle, also called the 'Devil Orchid'! Only a single population of 30 plants are known to exist, on the border between the Putumayo and Nariño departments of southern Colombia. It's classified as 'critically endangered'. The name 'Diabolicus' refers to the way its wine-red or maroon gynostemium (center) looks like the head of the devil.
