In the heart of Amsterdam, artist Yusif Khalilov unveils his latest exhibition, Bloom Storm – a powerful and transformative floral art experience that merges fleeting beauty with lasting emotional resonance. Open to the public until June 22, the exhibition invites visitors to step into a world where flowers are more than delicate forms—they are movement, presence, and power.
Yusif Khalilov
Azerbaijan artist Khalilov is famous for several projects that have caught the eye of a large audience, like the creation of the world's most expensive flower bouquet filled with diamonds, and his signature luxury floral jackets. And he is also known as an ambassador of World of Spray Roses, so no wonder many of his arrangements at the Bloom Storm exhibition feature these versatile flowers.
Fill the World With Beauty
“Flowers are a symbol of presence—a reminder to live today,” says Yusif Khalilov. I have created every artwork in this space with the intention of bringing you light—to fill this world with beauty, color, and energy. If you leave here with a smile, a light heart, and a hidden desire to dance, then the flowers have done their job—and that will make me even happier."

The exhibition features a collection of photographic artworks of floral installations, a replica of Khalilov’s iconic Diamond Bouquet, and six powerful pieces from his thought-provoking series, The Last Human. Each piece captures the intensity of the moment, locking in the life of flowers that would otherwise fade.

Khalilov chose the name 'Bloom Storm' to reflect his desire to create something so emotionally charged and visually overwhelming that it would overtake the viewer like a storm:
"I wanted people to be surrounded by complex floral art, to feel it in every corner of the space."
Dreaming of Bags
Among the highlights of the exhibition is his newest piece, 'Dreaming of Bags', a bold photograph featuring original Chanel bags embedded within a monumental floral arrangement. The piece bridges fashion and florals, memory and materialism, beauty and desire.

While the works are presented through photography, Khalilov is quick to clarify:
“I’m not a photographer—I’m a floral artist and director. I work with many photographers, but my vision lives in the construction, the storytelling, and the emotion within each floral scene."
To leave a lasting impression, every guest was gifted a small printed card featuring miniature prints of the entire collection of photographic artworks—the tangible memory of a moment designed to stay with them long after they leave.
When and Where to See
From April 5 to June 22, 2025, NIO House, Leidsestraat 32-34, Amsterdam, is the place where the contemporary floral artist Yusif Khalilov shows his masterly artworks. Bloom Storm is more than an exhibition—it is an emotional atmosphere, a celebration of presence, and a visual storm of beauty.
