Achieve More Together

The core message of spokesman Rob Klop, Sales Manager at Vreugdenhil Bulbs & Plants, about their collaboration with Decorum is that growers achieve more together. One of these achievements is that the end consumer is reached better, recognizes the Decorum quality, and is willing to repeat the purchase. This helps not just Vreugdenhil, but every Decorum grower. Tell us something about your company

"Vreugdenhil Bulbs & Plants is specialized in bulb and tuber crops. This covers the majority of our range. In total, we grow sixteen different products. What do you think of the Decorum brand?

"We have been a Decorum grower since 2004. We are a group of close-knit growers who strive to bring out the best in themselves. We think this works because you achieve much more together than alone, trying to bring out the best in each other by raising the quality to a level that we would like to achieve together. The label is not only a strong brand from the outside. We have different working groups within the Decorum group. This goes from sale to cultivation. So growers talk to each other about what they can improve and the sellers also talk to each other about how and how there are still opportunities in the market. This works closely together.
I think that Decorum is always at the forefront of floriculture, especially in terms of quality. The brand is strong in floriculture, it is recognized by consumers. It has the best quality that is available on the market."

What do you think is the most important reason for a florist to buy Decorum?

"Recognizability and reliability of a good product. The customer always receives the same quality when Decorum is ordered."

How do you see the future of Decorum?

"I am positive about the future. My thought is that consumers have become more and more brand buyers. So if they buy a Decorum plant and they like it, they will repeat it next time. With the flight that social media has taken, its reputation in the market has also grown rapidly. It is much easier to reach the end consumer. We as growers can ask specific questions about what they want in the future and why consumers buy this plant."
