Blooming lilies by Bredefleur

Although the winter's presence can now be felt strongly in some regions around the world, there's certainly nothing like having wintery and Christmas floral arrangements around. This time, I want to thank Bredefleur for having me be their BFF (Bredefleur friend) of the month while giving me the opportunity to create amazing floral designs with their spectacular assortment of lilies, all the way from delicate white to even pink tones to brighten up the winter season.

Lilies From Bredefleur Never Disappoint

When it comes to creating, I love getting my hands around some of my favorite flowers to create floral art. This includes, of course, the use of neutral-colored lilies such as white but I'm also a huge fan of colored lilies, especially when the winter blues hit and there's more darkness in the days ahead. In recent days, I've had the pleasure of creating designs with the wonderful lilies from Bredefleur. They're not just any design though, I thought about creating colorful floral designs with a visual appeal giving Christmas vibes already since this special holiday is only a few months away.

To begin, I used the intense and glacial white of the Lily Bach because it goes wonderfully with the warm and rustic color of the wood and wool used to create a modern Christmas tree, a design with multiple uses, as a centerpiece in a party room or decoration at the entrance to a hall. You'll surely be surprising all of your guests with such an imposing floral design as this. I hope you can get inspiration from my designs and see how beautiful it is to actually work with lilies.

The Perfect Winter Wedding Can Include White Lilies From Bredefleur

Remaining on white tones, my choice fell on the wonderful Lily Zambesi which is ultimately an elegant flower that has strong and decisive lines that perfectly match the flawless shapes of the lily. This is without a doubt an unmistakable, elegant, and decisive design, ideal for a breathtaking gift for the winter days or even Christmas holidays.

A Vivid Red Lasting Love

For me, Lily Lasting Love is the perfect name for this XL lily which alone dominates the entire design. The wonderful harmonious contrast between the vivid red of the lily and the nature that resists time makes this design eternal and rich in history, in which the gaze lingers in search of details.

The Dance of Bright and Austere Lilies

The joy of the celebration, the Christmas that arrives is fully relived in the dance of these brightly colored Carbonero lilies accompanied by the austere Lily Trebbiano as if to restore order to a table set for the party. Plays of color and sparkling Christmas baubles complete a design that brings the heart to the warm joy of the holidays.

Thank you, Bredefleur for having me as your BFF this month. There's nothing I enjoyed more than creating these floral artistic pieces with the endless beauty of lilies.

The lilies used in these designs are Lily Bach, Lily Zambesi, Lily Lasting Love, Lily Carbonero, and Lily Trebbiano.

My name is Ivan Berghella, everyone calls me Ivan Bergh. I am Italian, I live and work in Pescara. Graduated as an accountant in 1996, I immediately decided to take a new path. I wanted to work in the world of flowers. In 2001 I began my first collaboration with the European Athenaeum of Floral Art as an international teacher and judge, a collaboration that continued until 2011. In the meantime, in the years 2006 and 2007 I also participated in 6 different international seminars with the Flornet project in Hungary, Germany, Holland, and Norway. I took part in several competitions for florists, winning the Italian Championship and getting second and third places in International Championships in Sweden and Denmark. In my life there have always been flowers, my parents grew flowers, and so my passion and my feeling with them must have been born spontaneously. Probably this pushed me to become a florist, then my opening to the world led me to start international collaborations. I opened my school where we teach everything about compositions, flowers, and their use. You learn how to become a florist, but above all and most importantly, you learn to experiment, to dare with new materials, new shapes. It gives space to the imagination to make it visible and give it shape. I think that flowers can express our feelings, give a voice to our emotions. With colors, shapes, and materials we are able to communicate everything we have inside as artists. Flowers, love, and passion...
