There’s something quietly powerful about lilies — the way the flowers curve with precision, how their fragrance clings to the air long after you’ve left the room, how they seem to speak a language of strength without uttering a word. I’ve loved them for as long as I can remember. For me, they’re more than just blooms — they are vessels of memory, emotion, and presence.
At Sculpt Studio, my creative practice lives at the intersection of space, memory, and feeling. Whether I’m working in Amsterdam or Brussels, flowers are always part of the narrative. They don’t simply decorate a space — they change it. They hold energy. They mark moments.
A Collaboration Rooted in Passion and Precision
When Bredefleur, renowned for their extraordinary lilies, invited me to collaborate and be their BFF (Bredefleur Friend), I said yes instantly. Their varieties — Zambesi, Supra, Lasting Love, and Carbonero — each bring their own story to the table. Full of strength and architectural, and soft and romantic. Together, they became the heart of a floral series that is deeply personal.

This project is about more than design — it’s a dialogue. A meeting between the artistry of cultivation and the sensitivity of floral composition. Each lily passed to me carried the story of its grower: care, devotion, patience. My task was to listen with my hands and heart, to let the flowers lead.
My Design With Fruits and Flowers
Sculpt Studio’s work transcends traditional floral design—it’s a sculptural practice rooted in a deep sensitivity to natural materials and their emotional resonance. Combining flowers, fruits, vegetables, and preserved botanicals, their creations are more than arrangements—they’re immersive compositions that invite a shift in how we perceive and interact with the natural world.
Each piece is guided by the quiet power of imperfection, seasonality, and texture, offering not just beauty, but presence. Whether a monumental installation or an intimate floral sculpture, their work evokes storytelling through nature. By incorporating long-lasting materials and elements of plant care, Sculpt Studio opens a space for emotional connection and interactivity, where nature is not a backdrop, but the medium itself.
Love for Lilies
I have always had a special place in my heart for lilies - especially their smell, and their quiet yet strong presence. They were, and remain, a symbol that stirred my imagination and shaped my love for flowers forever. A short series of floral designs for @bredefleur with their very special lilies, that celebrate the flower in all its elegance, is a meeting of two crafts - growing and arranging - guided by the same appreciation for detail, form, and expression. This collaboration is a tribute to a flower that continues to inspire me, and to the people who bring it to life with such care.
The Language of Lilies
Designing with lilies is a tactile, emotional process. Their lines are confident, their fragrance unforgettable. They demand attention — not loudly, but with an elegant certainty. I shaped each arrangement to honor that: the calm confidence, the fluid strength, the kind of beauty that doesn’t need to shout.
This collaboration with Bredefleur is a quiet tribute. To the flowers that still move me. To the hands that grow them. And to the deep connection between flowers and being, how they can stir something in us we didn’t know was waiting.
I hope I gave you the right mood to make your choice and go for Lilies from Bredefleur,
