In 2023, Alina was named the winner of the 'Best Design and Space Decor' at The Exotic Wedding Planning Conference. This year in April 2024, she was the official partner for the same event, and now she is the Ambassador for the Table Design Exhibition, 3rd Edition.

After winning this prestigious award, Alina’s life took a wonderful turn. The impact of her country was adequate, and her talent being recognized internationally meant a lot for her new clients, following competition with two hundred other organizers from all over the world. For Alina, the Best Design Award means much more, it crowns the work of more than ten years of official activity. Alina has been organizing events since school, but she didn’t realize this would be her career.

Due to her devotion, her old clients sought her out. They requested her services constantly, recommending her to their friends who wanted to get married and thus helping her lay the foundations of today’s business which is called: Alina Vreju Events.

More than that, the award-winning moment coincided with her breakup in her marriage and she really needed appreciation and support, so in the end, everything aligned perfectly. To celebrate this important moment in her career, Alina did what she knew the best: she organized the best-ever party with her team, her partners, and her friends to thank them and to make it memorable.

Alina is more than a planner, she’s a pure soul, with a big, dedicated, and passionate heart, a good and loving mother, a perfectionist, and a persevering and ambitious person, who always fights for everything she wants.

Q. How did you get involved in Table Design?

Alina:

"I received the invitation to participate in Table Design as a guest last year. I met Meltem Tepeler in India, at a conference and she told me a lot about this wonderful event but I couldn’t imagine that it's so fantastic until I saw it with my eyes. It was a unique experience the entire event: luxury, finesse, quality people, good workshops, and wow... what incredible table designs! Later, I returned to my country where I started to create even more than I did before. I felt extremely inspired and without any barrier and of course, my clients are the luckiest because they have me in their lives."

Q. How important is decorating and flower or plant arrangement for events?

Alina:

"The basis of an event is the floral decoration. Only through flowers, you can dream and realize what you want, you can transform any space into your ideal setting, customized for your story.
Flowers mean elegance, finesse, uniqueness, and passion. Through the decor, you manage to convey a message that is both comprehensive and profound."

As known in the event industry there is a difference between an event planner and a designer. Some do it all, some hire a floral design team to do the decorative part. Alina is an all-rounder. Happy to organize it all.

Q. Do you often work with flowers? Do you decorate the tables yourself? Or together with a floral designer?

Alina:

"Yes, of course, I work with flowers. I'm the designer, I do the creative part and I have my floral partner who knows me better than myself sometimes and who brings my vision to reality. I love her. Whenever we work together we create magic."

An event planner or wedding designer sells emotions even more than floral design. What is the story behind the look and feel and how does a designer bring it to life? All very interesting to hear. Read on.

Q. Do you have a favorite mood/style? Why?

Alina:

"I don't have a favorite style, depends on my clients. My greatest quality is adaptability. I chose to get to know my clients before creating the design and my goal is to transfer their personality, within the event, through the flowers.
On their wedding day, when they step into the space I created for them and they start to cry from happiness, that moment is the best moment I could ever wish for."

In a world of weddings, destination weddings create a special dimension, it moves a whole family to a place where the couple dreams for a long time to celebrate together.

Q. Do you have destination weddings as part of your wedding experiences?

Alina:

"Yes, I do organize destination weddings both in Romania and across Europe and Asia. Romania is a small yet beautiful country, rich in unique landscapes, with its stunning mountains as well as sand and sea with its picturesque coastal areas. Depending on my clients' preferences, we can arrange events in any desired country and location, crafting a unique story for each occasion in a breathtaking setting. It's all about creating memorable experiences that reflect the couple's vision and the essence of their love story."

Q. What is your favorite destination?

Alina continues:

"My favorite destination is India. I love Hindu culture. I was fascinated by landscapes, traditions, and people’s education. After I came back from India, I felt like a different and blessed person. I like Indian weddings because people appreciate beauty, creating and decorating for Indian couples is an art appreciated at its fair value."
