Now firmly established on the global horticultural trade show calendar, Landscape Istanbul Fair (LIF) returns from 8-11 October 2025 at the Istanbul Fair Centre (IFM), Istanbul, Türkiye.
Now in its 4th edition, LIF 2025 will once again showcase thousands of products designed specifically for the professional landscaping industry, ranging from a wide variety of indoor and outdoor ornamental plants to hard and soft landscaping materials, systems, and equipment. At the time of going to press, Athena Fairs Inc., the organiser of LIF 2025, reported that the overall space booked by exhibitors to display their latest products and services had already exceeded the total area occupied at last year’s show, and expectations are that it will exceed 7,000 net square metres when the doors open.
View and Compare Over 110 Market Leaders
With over 110 market-leading suppliers exhibiting, there will be plenty for the professional landscape community to view and compare.

Amongst those companies taking part are two of Italy’s and indeed Europe’s ‘big hitters’ when it comes to ornamental plant growers, namely Vanucci Piante, Piante Faro, and Caporal Plant. Producing over 3,000 varieties of ornamental plants and exporting to more than 60 countries, Vanucci Piante has, after a 10-year absence from exhibiting in Türkiye, chosen LIF 2025 to highlight its latest range to international buyers. Piante Faro, who exhibited last year, will once again be promoting their extensive production of over 5,000 plant varieties, including ornamentals, palms, citrus, and cacti, grown on Europe’s largest nursery of Mediterranean and sub-tropical plants. Piante Faro also has an established export network to more than 60 countries.
Given Türkiye’s strength in ornamental plants and trees production, it is unsurprising that LIF 2025 will host many of its leading growers, including companies such as Aydo Tarım, which took their agricultural expertise and transitioned into a thriving tree nursery focused exclusively on seven Mediterranean varieties, like Ficus australis, Ficus nitida, Jacaranda mimosifolia, Bitter Orange, Bougainvillea, and Kumquat. Aydo Tarım is already selling into emerging markets such as Iraq, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
Despite only being established in 2020, Aratlı Botanik is another Turkish exhibitor that lists an impressive and diverse range of export markets, including Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan. A rapid increase in its production area and investment in modern, environmentally friendly technologies has enabled the business to become a significant grower of Lemon Cypress, Leylandi, Blue Cypress, Olive Bonsai, Mazi, and Himalayan Cedar.
Taking advantage of Türkiye’s varied geography and climatic conditions, Turkish exhibitor Ekovizyon Peyzaj uses its production facilities in the Altinova region for seasonal and covering plants and the Kurşunlu region for growing bushes and tropical plants suitable for Mediterranean climates. Ekovizyon Peyzaj currently supplies some 150 hotels, municipalities, and private companies across Antalya.
Adding to the diversity of plants and trees on display at LIF 2025 is exhibitor Yeşilvadi Production Nursery, which cultivates numerous varieties found in Türkiye, including those rarer varieties, before exporting them to European and Central Asian markets. Amongst their production are outdoor shrubs, perennials, bell-shaped shrubs, deciduous, and evergreen varieties.
Another grower targeting the landscaping sector is Doğancı Peyzaj, who not only produce indoor and outdoor ornamental plants but also offers project services to both corporate and individual clients. Furthermore, the company is building a reputation for specialising in medicinal aromatic plants, reeds, drought-tolerant plants, aquatic and riparian plants, along with perennial flowering plant varieties.
Whilst the vast array of ornamental plants and trees will take centre stage at LIF 2025, buyers can also source products such as potted flowers, which can be found on stands such as that of Gaye Süs Bitkileri, a leading Turkish grower of cyclamen and chrysanthemums. With a production capacity of two million pots per annum, the company can cater to a diverse range of clients, including nurseries, landscaping contractors, and flower shops.
What Visitors Can Expect to Gain
Commenting on what visitors can expect to gain from attending LIF 2025, Mustafa Gültekin Gökgül, CEO of Athena Fairs Inc., the organiser of LIF 2025, said:
“Quite simply, with the additional exhibit space, there will be a wider variety of products on display, which means more choice for landscaping professionals to come and see, compare, and negotiate great deals on.”
He also highlighted Istanbul’s appeal as a business destination, given its extensive international travel connections, lack of visa restrictions, a plentiful supply of good-quality hotel accommodation, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Gökgül is hopeful that with greater formal industry support and more show content on offer, LIF 2025 will also see a healthy increase in attendees. He went on to say:
“We welcomed nearly 5,000 professional visitors coming from 48 countries to LIF 2024, an increase of 35% over the previous year. With more products to discover on the exhibition floor and more expert speakers to learn from at the Symposium, LIF 2025 represents a truly cost-effective and transformative event for local, regional, and global landscape professionals as they plan for the future.”
Included: The 3rd World Urban Parks Symposium
Repeating the successful cooperation of the previous two years, LIF 2025 will be hosting the 3rd World Urban Parks Symposium (WUP Symposium) from 8-10 October, which this year is taking as its theme 'NEXT: The next generation of cities and public Spaces'. With international experts presenting on topics such as nature and climate resilience, equity and inclusive cities, experience and innovation in public spaces, thoughtful water and resource management, there will be innovative solutions and practical case studies for landscape architects, urban planners, municipal park managers, and landscaping contractors, to learn from and implement in their future activities.
The full program can be viewed on the WUP website. It is free to attend and offers a rare opportunity to hear from eminent speakers such as Tim Geyer, Chair of the Board of World Urban Parks, who has over 45 years of strategic, financial, and operational management of parks, urban landscapes, and recreational services. Geyer will deliver the opening keynote address to kick off three days of interactive educational content and professional networking.
Celebrating the remarkable work being done to create, manage, and activate parks and public spaces worldwide, the official WUP Awards ceremony will take place in conjunction with the Symposium. With over 100 entries from every region on the planet, WUP's international jury — composed of representatives from across the organisation’s global network — will carefully review each submission, and the results will be announced within the first two weeks of September.
