Just one look at these charming flowers, their velvet bud petals, and thin delicate stems awakens something long gone, hidden deep, but carefully preserved inside me — memories from childhood.
The Language of Flowers to Me
A ray of sunshine breaks through the curtain, fluttering butterfly wings, and fresh grass. It is the smell of pancakes that Mom bakes, a generous scattering of berries carefully picked by Grandma, and a small sweetness as a surprise from one of them under the pillow. I can almost hear the voices and laughter of these women in the kitchen early in the morning — women who are the closest to me. This is the magic of SCOOP.
Scoop Scabiosa Varieties With the Most Delicious Names
For the compositions, I chose Scabiosa Scoop® varieties with the most delicious names: French Vanilla Bon-Bon, Blackberry, Raspberry, and Sweet Cherry. They attracted me with their character, texture, and shades. Each of them is self-sufficient and irresistible in a mono-performance, elegant and gentle, but also a wonderful, strong companion for complex designs. And of course, they fully justify the names of their variety.
My Idea
This is how the idea came to present these flowers in arrangements together with edible elements:
- A mini-dessert, where the flower buds are served together with berries and vanilla marshmallow
- 'Forest sweets', where the scabiosa flower is 'that very berry on top' — the sweetest and most delicious
- A dish of abundance from many components, personifying the harvest, a generous treat, home comfort, and hospitality
For me, all the presented designs with Scabiosa SCOOP from breeder Danziger as their key element directly associate with the women of my family, with their natural beauty and strength, generous love, and warmth. Scabiosa SCOOP is the taste, aroma, and symbol of Mother's Day in these designs and a reminder of the wonderful moments.
