Hello flower lovers and design dreamers! I am thrilled to invite you to join me and the incredible sculptural artist Cedric Laquieze at the Table Design Exhibition this year’s 'The Art of Winter' 3rd edition in Istanbul, Türkye on December 6, 2024, for a very special workshop titled 'Designing Masterpieces: The Art of Fantasy Table Decoration'.

The Art of Fantasy Table Decoration

This event promises to take you on an inspiring journey where table design meets fantasy, art, and pure winter magic. This workshop is all about stepping beyond the conventional to create something truly breathtaking. Learn how to create a luxurious tablescape that captures the drama and grandeur of a European winter celebration, with high-impact, mixed-media centerpiece and ethereal floral arrangements that transport you to a whimsical world.

Together, Cedric and I will help you tap into the Victorian-Baroque aesthetic, an enchanting style full of opulence and imagination. I’ll be there to guide you step-by-step, teaching you how to craft a centerpiece that’s both dramatic and sophisticated, using sustainable techniques and the most luxurious flowers.

Meet Cedric Laquieze

Let me introduce you to my friend and collaborator Cedric Laquieze, an artist whose creativity knows no bounds. Originally from Los Angeles but now based here in Amsterdam, Cedric’s work blurs the lines between sculpture, fashion, and design, always with a surrealistic twist. His creations, from fairies crafted from insects to floral taxidermy, offer an imaginative celebration of nature and forms. Cedric's work continuously reminds me of the beauty and endless possibilities of art.
