The fall fern Dryopteris erythrosora is a strong plant, which does not need much care
Dryopteris Erythrosora is a colorful and delicate indoor green plant with air-purifying qualities.
This autumn fern has its origin in China and Japan. The specie erythrosora refers to the red (erythros) seedheads (sora) on this fern. The nickname name autumn fern has nothing to do with autumn as a season, but it has to do with the colors of the young leaves. These colors vary from bronze to red. The name Dryopteris comes from the Greek word 'drys'(oak) and 'pteris'(fern). This refers to their original location in the oakwoods on the Northern Hemisphere.
Dryopteris is suitable in your home, but in spring it will show off on our shady terrace, too.
