Rosettes worn around the waist, on little evening bags, or as giant flower brooches. From the start, the botanical theme was clear for the Carolina Herrera Creative Director, Wes Gordon, as he has entirely pushed into all things amorous for this season's run-through. Not to mention the fact he lined the runway with more than 3,000 hot pink Ranunculus flowers. A floral ode for a fashion show!
A Ranunculus and Flower Bloom at Carolina Herrera's Fashion Show
For this year's Fall 2025 collection, luxury fashion brand Carolina Herrera debuted elegant floral designs and attires tied to a runway filled with blooming Ranunculus flowers like never before. When guests and celebrities were asked to guess how many Ranunculus flowers there actually were, no one seemed to guess correctly. But the answer is a straight 3,300 of these beautiful hot pink flowers distributed through the entire runway floor, designed by @erindesign_eriko.

Wes brought the duality of nature and the city to life. He shared:
"Growth has its season. As long as the roots are not severed, all is well and all will be well.”
This message of renewal and continuity echoed throughout the collection, celebrating the power of florals even in the coldest months.
Flowers in Winter? A Hard Yes
The botanical theme was immediately apparent: models wore sashes with handmade silk rosettes around their waists, carried little rosette evening bags, and wore enormous flower brooches or bright tulip designs. The vivid colors on display are inspired by one of Gordon's favorite paintings, Sonia Delaunay's 'Rhythm Color'. A prodigal luxury approach was seen in action throughout the entire show.
Winter floral designs took center stage, with colorful designs, elaborate needlework, and shimmery textures. The designs were fluid and romantic, with billowing gowns and flowing fabrics that created movement and grace on the runway.
The lovey-dovey mood was broken up by a running motif of pinstriped suits, which were playfully upgraded with cropped blazers, strapless tops or bandeaus, and gilded floral embellishments. Call it corporate, Herrera-style, with Gordon infusing youthful energy into ladylike house codes. The collection also included the brand's distinctive white shirting, which was worn with sharp pants or oversized and draped over a flared skirt.

There were even more lovely touches... As Fleetwood Mac played on the music, openwork lace mimicked the edges of a Valentine, embroidered tweeds came in macaron hues, and roses burst over the shoulders and bodice of a hot-pink dress. The only issue is that we won't be able to get our hands on these looks before February 14.
Besides being one of the most loved runways till now, the collection was an homage to femininity and renewal, demonstrating that style can flourish even during the winter blues.
