Emma Rothschild, the owner behind 'Bitchin' Blooms', builds little worlds out of petals, stems, and stories. From her studio in Santa Monica, she works with a knack for color and an obsession with lively modern design, with the kind of wild creativity that turns weddings and events into something people actually remember. If you’ve got a wedding or any type of event on the horizon, Emma’s the kind of person who’ll obsess over it right alongside you, making sure every flower has something to say.
Emma Rothschild Along Her Santa Monica-Based Floral Studio - Bitchin' Blooms
Floral designers love arrangements, bouquets, and just things are not the same for any two clients. Emma, a person who looks out for the happiness of others through any type of flower, has a design process that begins with the freshest flowers available at the market, so no two arrangements are ever the same. As part of her services, she creates one-of-a-kind bouquets and arrangements for weddings, influencer and brand events, photoshoots, personal occasions, and more. It's a world filled with colorful flowers for everyone, anywhere, and everywhere.

Bitchin’ Blooms was founded by Emma while she was earning her Master’s in Nonprofit Administration and Management. What started as a side passion quickly turned into something much bigger. She had always been drawn to flowers, especially the ones her grandfather and mom would gather from their gardens and arrange just because. Once she got into floral design herself, there was no turning back. Since then, Bitchin’ Blooms has grown into a sought-after studio, designing for brands like Nike, Glossier, Toteme, and more.

Once She Caught the Floral Design Bug, She Couldn't Stop
Emma has always had a thing for flowers. Her grandfather was constantly in the garden, putting together arrangements and fruit plates—something he passed on to Emma’s mom, and eventually to her. Bitchin’ Blooms came to life during her first year of grad school, when she realized flowers were all she could focus on. She started cold-emailing every flower shop, florist, and studio she could find in Los Angeles, just looking for a way in. When she finally got that chance, she didn’t look back.
By spring 2022, she was posting her designs on Instagram and hasn’t stopped since. The road had its challenges—figuring out how to market, create content, and show people what makes flowers actually fun—but for Emma, it’s all been worth it. She genuinely loves what she does, and she’s building Bitchin’ Blooms into something that reflects that passion.
She shared:
"I love that people are finding their love for flowers again and making them a big part of their life, and I see this continuing and hopefully becoming even more prevalent."
Nowadays, her thriving business delivers flowers anywhere in LA, Orange County, and Ventura County. They do one-off deliveries, subscriptions (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly), weddings, events, and store installations. She has lots and lots of positive reviews about her work, some of which you can read directly on Bitchin' Blooms' website.
It’s no surprise that once people work with her, they end up sending their friends her way too!
