Industry support for this year's Landscape Istanbul Fair (LIF) continues to grow as the organizers recently announced that this year’s show will welcome the official participation of two major industry bodies— The Turkish Ornamental Plant Growers Union (SÜSBİR) and the Turkish Chamber of Landscape Architects (PMO).
LIF 2025 will open its doors from October 8-11, 2025, providing buyers and consumers of decorative plants and trees, as well as horticulture and landscaping products, with a special opportunity to explore and evaluate the latest offerings from a varied spectrum of world-class providers.
A Top-Tier Trade Show for the Professional Landscaping and Horticultural Community
This year's fair will be the fourth edition of this regional trade show for the professional landscaping and horticultural community in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa. The event has received official support from SÜSBİR and PMO, indicating its importance to their members and the wider landscaping and ornamental plants market.
SÜSBİR, representing almost 1,100 Turkish commercial decorative plant farmers, is a member of the European Nurserystock Association (ENA), providing both domestic and international market coverage and access.

Their General Secretary, Miray ENGİN, expressed their engagement to transform the country into a hub for ornamental plant production and distribution:
"Our vision is to transform Turkey into a hub for the production and marketing of ornamental plants by leveraging our ecological and logistical advantages in the future. Landscape Istanbul Fair plays a significant role for us to achieve this vision, and it is a valuable opportunity, especially in terms of boosting exports.”

Istanbul Goes Green - Inside the City’s Premier Landscape Fair
PMO, representing over 7,000 professional landscape architects in Turkey, has recently confirmed its support for the fair as well. Landscape architecture encompasses all aspects of urban green spaces, including design, planning, and development, and plays a crucial role in policy formulation. As a member of the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), the PMO's impact goes beyond national borders.

Commenting on the importance of securing the support of both these organisations, Mustafa Gültekin GÖKGÜL, CEO of Athena Fairs Inc., and organizer of Landscape Istanbul Fair 2025, said:
“In addition to the obvious benefits of seeing a much greater level of participation at the event from these core groups of buyers and sellers, we are very excited by the added value they will bring to the event given the extensive international experience and expertise of their members."
The Theme to Be Explored at the Fair
GÖKGÜL anticipates its knowledge to be particularly impactful during the 3rd World Urban Parks Symposium, held by Landscape Istanbul Fair for the third consecutive year.
World Urban Parks, the organizer of the Symposium 'NEXT: The Next Generation of Cities and Public Spaces', is seeking presentation proposals from industry experts on topics including nature and climate resilience, water and resource management, inclusivity, and innovation in public spaces. Beyond the Booth - Creative Forces Shaping Outdoor Design
Held in 2024, the past event drew 120 exhibitors and 5,000 trade professionals from 50 countries to explore and evaluate new products and services, as well as debate future demands. This year, the team expects the fair to be the largest, best-attended, and most productive edition yet, citing favorable outcomes from prior years and strong demand from vendors.
Remember, the show will take place from 8-11 October 2025 at the Istanbul Fair Center, Istanbul, Turkey, and is open to all landscaping, horticultural, and related trade professionals.
