In recent years, Marginpar has increasingly positioned itself at major events, showcasing the beauty and strength of its ever-widening assortment of quality-cut flowers, grown under optimal conditions across several African countries. Through this presence, products such as Clematis, Astrantia, Eryngium, Craspedia, Scabiosa, and Sanguisorba have become synonymous with the Marginpar label.

A good part of all the beauty was presented in their booth and on stage during a world-class demo, 'Flower Riot – She Blooms Live: High-End Floristry Meets Attitude!'

What happened in Essen does not stay in Essen, so here's what happened at the IPM Flower Stage and in the Marginpar booth.

Marginpar's Showcase at IPM Essen: ‘Flower Riot – She Blooms Live’

If you walked into Hall 5 at IPM Essen 2026, you probably felt it right away. This was the ‘Creative Hall’ setup: watch a session, turn around and scout suppliers, then loop back to the next show without losing your train of thought. One thing was refurbished this year, and it mattered: the IPM Flower Stage. That revolving stage detail sounds small, but it enhances the experience. You get visibility from multiple angles, a steady pace, and a show format that encourages speakers to explain their mechanics and choices. In short: more focus on the ‘why’ behind techniques, not only the finished look.

Marginpar stepped into this format with a clear statement piece: ‘Flower Riot – She Blooms Live: High-End Floristry Meets Attitude!’ Led by Hanneke Frankema, Sara-Lisa Ludvigsson, and Elisabeth Schoenemann, the show was scheduled twice, giving visitors two chances to catch it without having to compromise their supplier route.

What made this feel like a collaboration rather than a one-off performance was how naturally it plugged into the Flower Stage idea: the show was right there in the middle of the supplier loop. You could watch, then immediately walk the hall and watch the products up close in the Marginpar booth asking your questions to the team.

Meeting Marginpar and Their Flowers in Booth 5B10

Marginpar’s stand was easy to find: Hall 5, stand 5B10, five steps away from the stage and stands. If you’re a florist who likes to connect the creative dots to real-world purchasing decisions, this placement made sense. The stand was set up for meeting the team, getting the brand story straight from the source, and picking up the inspirational magazine.

Marginpar also used the stand to spotlight novelties, including a uniquely new double-flowered Clematis Amazing® Lima that visitors could check out, just like a wide assortment of Delphiniums, Gypsophilas, Jatrophas, Asters, and Eryngiums.

And the winner of the IPM Best Novelty Cut Flower Clematis Amazing® Tokyo, called out for its sturdy stems and open flower form – the kind of traits florists care about when the flowers need to behave in real work.

In this reel, Helena van Achterberg, Brand Manager from Marginpar, explains what's so special about this prize-winning Clematis:

And then there was the wider Hall 5 ecosystem. BLOOM's featured Marginpar flowers in trend-driven designs, which gave another angle: not just the supplier message, but how the product gets interpreted when it hits design hands.

What Florists Can Take From This Collaboration

Marginpar’s IPM Essen 2026 collaboration worked because it wasn’t isolated. It linked three things that often sit apart at trade fairs:

That’s a blueprint more brands will likely follow, especially as IPM Essen keeps pushing Hall 5 as the central meeting point for floristic trends and inspiration. And Marginpar? They're ready for your product demands and meeting with you in person during one of the upcoming major events, such as FleurEx, the Dutch Horti Week, or IPM Essen 2027. Keep a close watch on the agenda of flower festivals, trade fairs, exhibitions, and expos to plan your visit to the next Marginpar booth.
