The story behind the greens at TAK Global reflects the origin and evolution of the world's largest foliage export company. Over the past 14 years, the entire team has witnessed a significant transformation, marked by the transition from a family business to an organization with international reach, without losing the essence or legacy of its founder, Alfredo Miron. This process has been guided by the family, who have preserved the values that gave rise to the company, strengthening its identity and long-term vision.

Behind the Green – How TAK Began and Grew Worldwide

Over the years, TAK, founded by Alfredo Miron, has experienced important advances in technology and in the processes involved in exporting quality foliage. As a company, they have faced major challenges, introduced new crops, and developed new product formats to bring our fresh and preserved foliage to different markets around the world. From Claudia Barros' (Administrative Assistant) experience, these achievements have been possible thanks to a strong organizational culture that has always focused on doing things properly, supporting innovation, differentiation, and constant adaptation to market trends.

Values and Company Culture

Commitment, responsibility, and loyalty to the spirit and legacy that define the Guatemalan green company have been fundamental pillars along this path. Working under these principles has allowed the company to grow into an organization with strong global potential, capable of growing in a sustainable way and continuing to be a reference in foliage exports. More than a company, TAK was built with vision, values, and complete respect for its roots and environment.

"Having worked closely with the founder and now with the professional family team that continues his leadership has been a privilege and a constant source of learning for me. A Re-Branding That Communicates the Ethos of TAK

After almost 40 years, it was clear that TAK needed a renewed image. Not to change who they are, but to better reflect what they have become.

Nina Cohen, Brand Coordinator, shares:

"The new logo is born from our previous one. It is an evolution that places greater emphasis on our roots while updating the brand for the present and the future. We aimed for a clearer, stronger, and more contemporary identity, aligned with the quality of our products and our processes. This refresh also led us to define a new slogan: based in nature, driven by purpose. A phrase that sums up our essence. We are deeply connected to the land, but we move forward with intention, responsibility, and a clear long-term vision. It serves as a guide for how we work, how we make decisions, and how we want to continue growing."
