Flores Verdes is a rose-growing farm in Cayambe, Ecuador, producing and exporting fresh-cut roses to customers seeking high quality, good vase life, and a wide range of rose types. Thanks to its location near the equator, the farm benefits from steady daylight conditions that help grow roses with large heads, intense colors, thick stems, and clean foliage. The company grows its roses both traditionally in soil and hydroponically in coconut peat, and today works with more than 70 premium rose varieties, including rare and exclusive selections.
Environmental & Social Responsibility
Flores Verdes places environmental and social responsibility at the core of its production process. The nursery employs more than 200 specialized staff and emphasizes safe working conditions, training, and responsible agricultural practices. Its production and export process is supported by certifications and affiliations such as Flor Ecuador, Fairtrade, Flor Verde, BPA, and BASC, while its post-harvest, cooling, packing, and shipping systems are set up to protect rose quality all the way to the customer.
