Gypsophila Mirabella is a favorite medium size flower gyp. It does not require additional lighting to flower, and has an upright plant structure with long internodes to prevent tangling, reducing the loss of flowers in packing.
Gypsophila is really the team player among flowers. By adding gypsophila every bouquet gets something opulent. Gypsophila comes from the Greek words "gypsos" = gypsum (lime sulfate) and "philos" = friend. This beautiful name refers to the preference of the flower for calcareous soils.
