New Hub for Floriculture Innovation in Colombia
Strengthening floriculture ties between Colombia and the Netherlands took center stage with the official opening of the new farm, a new innovation and connection hub. The opening ceremony welcomed customers, strategic partners, and institutional representatives, including the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombia, highlighting the strong relationship between both countries within the global floriculture sector.

Among the distinguished attendees were Reina Buijs, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombia, along with Johan Van’t Hag, COO of Cut Flowers at Dümmen Orange, and Bas Pellenars, Commercial Director of LATAM at Dümmen Orange.
As previously mentioned, the celebration was followed by an Open House held from March 9 to 13, where hundreds of growers visited the new location to discover the latest varieties and explore the future of floriculture through the company's genetics and breeding innovations.
Throughout the week, visitors had the opportunity to experience the company’s full portfolio and engage directly with the commercial and technical teams, reinforcing the long-term commitment to supporting the development of the Colombian floriculture industry.

With the opening of The Orange Garden, Dümmen Orange further strengthens its presence in one of the world’s most important flower-growing regions, while creating a dedicated space where growers can connect with the company’s latest genetics, breeding innovations, and technical expertise. The new location also reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to building closer relationships with growers across Latin America, supporting the development of the regional floriculture industry and fostering collaboration throughout the supply chain.
