Opening of Our New Hardening Greenhouse in Colombia
We officially opened our new hardening greenhouse at our Colombia operation, a significant and practical addition to our facility that marks an important step in our operational capabilities.
This specialized greenhouse supports the healthy acclimatization of young plant material. It provides a carefully controlled, stable environment for rooting and early development before the plants move into production or evaluation phases. The facility incorporates modern climate control systems and optimized growing conditions that ensure the young plants get proper care during this stage of development.
This infrastructure investment strengthens our work in Colombia and further supports the quality and consistency we aim to deliver to growers around the world. It also enhances our capacity to develop and test new varieties more efficiently, to benefit our partners and clients.
A Warm Team Gathering
We also held a year-end integration event with our Colombian team, joined by our CEO Paco van der Louw, partner Jelle Posthumus, the CEO of breeder United Selections, and colleagues from administration, commercial, laboratory, and other operational departments.
It was a positive and warm afternoon, a moment to look back on the year's achievements, appreciate everyone's individual and collective contributions, and spend quality time together outside the daily routine.

Seasonal Editorial Project
To complete the week, we worked on a small editorial project inspired by the Thanksgiving and festive season, featuring a selection of our varieties. The project puts into focus the beauty, versatility, and creative expression opportunities that our flowers bring to different markets and countries, especially during this festive time of year.
The project also showcases how our varieties adapt to different design contexts, showing their value to florists, designers, and everyday users.
Our Annual December Farm Celebration
As part of our end-of-year celebrations, we will also host our annual December celebration at the farm. This gathering is an important moment for us, bringing everyone together as one team, and in many ways, as one family.
