Growing up inside my mother’s flower shop, I discovered that flowers don’t just decorate spaces – they speak without words. My childhood was filled with buckets of roses, fragrant afternoons, and the quiet magic of watching my mom transform stems into art. That early exposure became the foundation of my creative life.
Although I studied Interior Design, flowers always called me back. Every workshop, design experiment, museum visit, and market stroll sharpened my eye for color, texture, proportion, and emotion. Flowers taught me patience, observation, and the art of transforming ordinary elements into meaningful experiences.
A Decade of Creative Exploration
For over ten years, I’ve immersed myself in the world of floral design – experimenting, learning, and constantly seeking inspiration. I’ve traveled, taken classes, visited art and home décor stores, and let global trends shape the way I interpret color and form.

Curiosity has always been my guide. I love mixing styles, playing with contrast, and creating arrangements that surprise and evoke emotion. As an entrepreneur in Mexico, I built my own creative brand, exploring how storytelling, design, and digital content could help people connect with flowers in everyday life.

A New Country, A New Perspective
Two and a half years ago, I moved from Mexico to Ecuador – an experience that completely transformed my understanding of the floral industry.
In Mexico, the floral market is more local, focused mainly on events, celebrations, and the internal market. While there is production, it doesn’t operate on the massive export-oriented scale seen in other countries.

Ecuador, however, opened my eyes to a completely different world. The floral industry here is global. Ecuador is one of the largest flower exporters in the world, and its roses are internationally renowned. Being here allowed me to witness the entire process: from the fields and greenhouses to the intricate logistics of global distribution. I saw firsthand the level of specialization, the rigorous quality standards, and the immense effort behind every bloom that travels across continents.
Living here helped me understand the depth and complexity behind each flower – something I could only imagine before. It was like moving from seeing the final arrangement… to noticing details I had never paid attention to before, valuing the entire process more deeply, and appreciating the people in the fields and greenhouses who bring each bloom to life.
These experiences also shifted the way I approach creativity.
Design, Color, and Creative Expression
My journey didn’t stop when I moved. I continued developing creative content, exploring textures, palettes, and design approaches. Some days I dive into bold color combinations; on others, I embrace simplicity through neutral, understated arrangements.
Through videos, artistic projects, and my food-and-flower venture, I try to share not only my work but the beauty hidden in everyday moments. For me, floral design – and the creativity I bring to combining flowers and food – is emotion, storytelling, and a bridge that connects people through color, flavor, and nature.

Following Your Passion Can Transform Your Life
After so many years working with flowers, I’ve learned something essential: you can truly build a life around what you love. Passion becomes direction. Creativity becomes identity. And each step – whether in Mexico, Ecuador, or anywhere else – expands the ways in which flowers can connect us.

Thank you for reading my story. I look forward to sharing more color, inspiration, and creative discoveries with the Thursd community!
