This autumn, Bishkek will see something new blossom. On September 15, 2025, the Guild of Florists of Kyrgyzstan will host the country’s very first international floral show: Flora Fusion Kyrgyzstan. Set at the modern Technopark venue, this one-day event promises more than just flowers on display—it will be a meeting point of cultures, ideas, and the creative energy that connects florists worldwide.
The First Flora Fusion Kyrgyzstan
Until now, Kyrgyzstan has been a hidden gem in the global floral industry. Known for its dramatic mountains, nomadic traditions, and rich cultural heritage, the country hasn’t yet hosted an event of this scale for the international floral community. With Flora Fusion Kyrgyzstan, that is about to change. The organizers aim to create not only a showcase of flowers and design but also a platform where local and global voices come together to exchange knowledge and inspiration.
The name of the event says it all: 'fusion'. Drawing on Central Asia’s deep traditions of craft, textile patterns, and storytelling, the show will merge ethnic motifs with contemporary floral design. Visitors can expect to see installations that carry the rhythm of nomadic ornaments, floral shapes inspired by Kyrgyz felt art, and design concepts that bridge East and West. The idea is simple but powerful—flowers as a universal language that connects cultures while celebrating their uniqueness.
Spotlight on Designers and Industry Leaders
A highlight of the program will be the featured floral designers and influential personalities of the floral business. Together, they will set the tone for a day of artistic exchange and creative energy.
On home soil, Petr Anokhin will take the stage. A respected florist in Kyrgyzstan and beyond, Petr is known for his conceptual work that often pushes the boundaries of what floral design can express. For many local florists, seeing Petr’s work at such a large-scale event will be both inspiring and affirming.
From the Netherlands, Warja Abrosimova, social influencer and brand ambassador for Decorum, will bring her international perspective and flair.
- The schedule is designed to balance inspiration, learning, and networking. Attendees can look forward to:
- Presentations of new flower varieties from leading global breeders, giving florists and growers the first look at what’s coming next in the market.
- Large-scale live floral installations, where flowers become architectural and storytelling elements, transforming the space into a living gallery.
- Trend talks and inspirational showcases, offering insights into global directions in floral art, consumer demand, and design aesthetics.
- Networking opportunities that allow local florists to connect with international breeders, wholesalers, and fellow designers.
- And to add a little extra excitement, the day will end with a grand prize draw. Thanks to 7 Flowers, Kyrgyzstan’s largest flower supplier, one lucky visitor will even drive away in a new car.

Building Bridges Through Flowers
What sets Flora Fusion Kyrgyzstan apart is its aim to become a cultural bridge. This is not just a showcase where flowers are admired, but a celebration of Kyrgyz hospitality and the openness of the floral industry itself. For international visitors, the event will be a chance to discover a new part of the world and see how local traditions inspire design. For Kyrgyz florists, it will be an opportunity to step onto the global stage.
The event is supported by partners who share the vision of global connection: Flowerportal, Peter van Delft, Deliflor, Linflowers, and Warja Abrosimova.
