What's the vision behind the art, and who is Zoe Burton? Every couple wants their wedding day to feel personal, meaningful, and beautifully reflective of who they are – and the flowers should tell that story. Zoe, owner, lead artist, and the creative heart behind Burton’s Blooms, runs a wedding flower studio based in London, UK. She designs with leading emotions and intention, designing artful, flower-focused arrangements that shape the atmosphere of each wedding.
Zoe Burton – Showing up Fully as an Artist and as a Human
Engaged couples seek Zoe out because they trust her to translate their vision or even just a simple color palette into something distinctive and out of the ordinary for their wedding day. What was her journey, however, to becoming one of London's most well-known and requested wedding floral designers? Here's a sneak peek into her story.
Zoe, founder of Burton’s Blooms, didn’t grow up planning to be a florist. She grew up loving color, texture, and anything that allowed her to make something with her hands, but for a long time, she believed those interests belonged outside of 'real' work. After university, she spent twelve years in corporate roles, building a stable career that looked good on paper.

Yet she often felt out of place. The work was practical and structured, but it didn’t reflect who she was or how she wanted to spend her days. She wanted a job that felt alive, something connected to people instead of solely focusing on the processes.
Zoe’s Journey to Becoming a Wedding Florist in London
Floristry entered her life slowly – first as curiosity, then as evening courses, then as the part of her week she looked forward to most. Working with flowers felt physical and intuitive in a way office life never had. She realized she didn’t want creativity to be an escape anymore; she wanted it to be her work.

Burton’s Blooms began four years ago from Zoe’s small London workspace and grew through word of mouth. Couples were drawn to her relaxed approach and her ability to create designs that are very natural, not overly exaggerated, and classy. She focuses on shape, movement, and seasonality, preferring flowers that look as if they were gathered from a garden that morning.

She shares:
"It’s an honor to design for your one-of-a-kind love story. Whether you’re planning a city ceremony or a modern celebration just outside London, I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and completely wowed by your flowers."
What you can expect from Burton's Blooms
For the floral designer, weddings are less about the constant standard of perfection and more about the atmosphere she creates. The characteristics that predominate in her wedding designs are the way a room feels when guests walk in, the scent that lingers on a table, the bouquet that appears to be in someone's hands, and the way a place feels when visitors enter. She never takes it lightly to be trusted with those specifics.
Building Burton's Blooms has taught her that work can be both practical and personal, even though leaving her corporate employment was intimidating. Today, she operates a studio that matches her own taste: thoughtful, unassuming, and a little romantic, with London at its hub and nature at its core.
