This August, floral professionals from across the country will gather in Pasadena, California, for what promises to be one of the most memorable Fun 'N Sun conventions in the event's history. From August 5–8 at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, Fun 'N Sun 2026 will celebrate 85 years of floral trajectory while looking towards the future of the floral industry.
This year's theme, "A Legacy in Bloom: 85 Years of Floral Excellence," perfectly captures the spirit of an event designed to honor the past, celebrate today's accomplishments, and welcome exciting opportunities ahead. This year's convention is a historic milestone for the organization itself. It's your last chance to join this event!
A Historic New Chapter for Fun 'N Sun by CalFlowers
For the first time in 85 years, attendees will witness the unveiling of CalFlowers' new brand and organization name. Originally founded to serve California flower growers and suppliers, the association has grown into a thriving national organization representing nearly 900 members from across the United States. The new name and brand reflect that remarkable growth and signal an exciting future focused on serving the entire floral industry.

Convention attendees will be among the very first to experience this historic announcement.
One of the biggest attractions of Fun 'N Sun has always been the Flower Fair – and this year, it's bigger than ever. With more than 50 exhibiting companies, the 2026 Flower Fair is officially the largest in the convention's history. Attendees will discover the latest flower varieties, floral products, hard goods, technology, supplies, logistics solutions, and services while connecting directly with growers, breeders, wholesalers, importers, suppliers, and industry innovators from across North America. The Flower Fair offers new products, fresh ideas, and valuable business connections for every segment of the floral industry.
Education That Inspires
Friday's General Session features an outstanding lineup of nationally recognized speakers who will challenge attendees to think differently, take forward new opportunities, and strengthen both their businesses and their leadership. Award-winning filmmaker and keynote speaker Brett Culp will inspire attendees with a message about leadership, resilience, and creating meaningful connections.

Joining him is respected industry leader J. Keith White, followed by the West Coast Flower Production Panel, where leading growers and industry experts will discuss the future of flower production, innovation, sustainability, and collaboration throughout the floral supply chain. Together, these presentations offer attendees fresh perspectives and practical ideas that they can take home and apply immediately.
Education doesn't stop in the General Session, though. Fun 'N Sun's popular hands-on workshops provide attendees with the opportunity to learn directly from industry experts through interactive classes designed to spark creativity and build practical skills. A limited number of seats are still available, making now the perfect time to add a hands-on workshop to your convention experience.

Honoring a Lifetime of Leadership
One of the most meaningful moments of the convention will be the presentation of the 2026 Distinguished Service Award to Red Kennicott. For decades, Red has been a respected leader, mentor, and advocate for the floral industry. His dedication, integrity, and commitment have influenced generations of floral professionals, making him a fitting recipient of one of the industry's highest honors. As the floral community gathers to celebrate 85 years of excellence, attendees will have the opportunity to recognize a leader whose legacy has helped shape the industry we know today.
Beyond education and business opportunities, Fun 'N Sun is about bringing the floral community together. From beautiful floral displays and unforgettable evening celebrations to networking events and meaningful conversations, attendees will experience the relationships, creativity, and collaboration that continue to strengthen the floral industry. Reconnecting with longtime colleagues and meeting new friends are both part of what makes Fun 'N Sun such a valuable experience. It fosters an environment where ideas flourish, and lasting partnerships emerge.
