This coming July, an exciting Master Class Experience, led by Alex Molina, owner and CEO of Savia Bruta Flower School, will take place. Conceived as an immersive format, it will allow floral design to be created and perceived from within its origin, while also providing an in-house experience. This is where the life of flowers begins. Over the course of three days, participants from diverse backgrounds related to flowers and decorations will work side by side with selected iconic greenhouses located around the outskirts of Quito, Ecuador, thereby combining exploration, hands-on learning, and guided creativity.
A Masterclass by Savia Bruta Introducing an Exciting Format in Floral Education
More than a traditional style floral class, this experience, taught by Alex Molina, proposes an educational dynamic designed specifically for the contemporary floral industry: to observe, understand, and design based on the real context where the flower is born.
Each day will be structured as a full-day experience, where learning unfolds progressively and in connection. Activities integrate technical demonstrations, guided practice, and the development of large-scale design proposals, all rooted in observation and interpretation of the origin. Throughout the experience, participants will work within the farms and their specialized showcases, engage with local teams, learn about production processes, and discover varieties while translating everything they experience directly into their design exercises.
Work and roam the premises of well-renowned floral farms that specialize in standard and garden roses, and so many more varieties, like buttercups and anemones!

Mentorship and Training Guided by Alex Molina
The practical classes and demonstrations will be led by Alex Molina, director of Savia Bruta Flower School, whose trajectory and focus on contemporary floral design have been key in shaping this educational format. This masterclass is developed in collaboration with Savia Bruta Flower School, from a shared vision that understands floral education as a process that combines technique, critical thinking, and direct field experience.

Host Farms – The Origin as a Classroom
The learning experience is made possible thanks to host farms that open their doors and actively integrate into the program, transforming their spaces into living classrooms where the origin of the flower is observed, understood, and translated into design. In this first edition, the host farms will be Rosaprima and Agrivaldani, both recognized for their approach, high quality flowers, and vision within the floral industry.
Supporting Floral Education
This Master Class Experience is supported by De Ruiter, one of the most respected breeders in the floral industry. Their sponsorship enables the development of this first edition with the structure and attention required to sustain a high-level educational format.
The experience will conclude with a collective floral installation, conceived to engage in dialogue with the environment, culture, and architecture of the location. The group will participate in leaving behind a floral sculpture to be viewed for weeks by all passersby. As a closing moment, participants will gather for a special farewell dinner at the host hotel, creating a space for connection, exchange, and reflection. This first edition marks the beginning of a new way of thinking about floral education - more immersive, more connected to the origin, and aligned with the reality of the industry.
