Did you enjoy my previous blog with my first two designs with flowers from Marginpar? Well, you're in for a second treat with designs number 3 and 4 from the same top grower of African niche and filler flowers.

Let me share these new designs also with you! In my blog, I will explain what I have made, and which flowers are in the composition, so you can get your dose of inspiration for your own cheerful designs.

Marginpar's assortment is not just special because they're niche flowers, their exceptional quality makes them easy and nice to work with as well. In this series, I have created a collection of luxurious designs for the interior and garden.

Design #3: Soft Shades

This bouquet featuring Clematis Amazing® Miami is composed of delicate pastel tones in lilac, pink, and yellow. The soft appearance is enhanced by strips of green and beige felt on the outside of the bouquet. The lilac Clematis flowers seem to float just above the arrangement, and the colorful leaves of the Caladium plant lend an exotic touch. A magical bouquet for a variety of occasions.

I am so proud to have my daughter Hanna Egervari-Kövér as the model for this photoshoot! 💚 She is my lovely girl with a lovely bouquet.

For this floral piece, I used the classical spiral technique again. I made a frame, a basis with the Lehner wool ribbons, and then I tied the bouquet with Decorum’s Lisianthus and Chrysanthemums, and then I used that beautiful Clematis.

I like these flowers because they are really airy and dazzle the viewer with their beautiful colors. The centerpiece of the bouquet was only one Caladium leaf, which is very nice in harmony with the colors of the flowers.

Design #4: Natural Textures

Wild nature is a major source of inspiration for me, and this is clearly reflected in this piece. This bouquet, predominantly featuring yellow and green tones, exudes a sunny character with the combination of Solidago Carzan Glory, Craspedia Paintball™ Pop, and Bupleurum Griffithii. The playful texture and abundance of greenery give the bouquet an authentic, natural look - summer captured in a bouquet!

The colorful arrangement gains depth and contrasts with the addition of Limonium Max Diamond, a variety with antique pink flowers highlighted with yellow details. The Chasmanthium Latifolium Mantis adds a natural, yet sophisticated element. The binding method with natural string perfectly finishes the look.

The subtitle of this design could well be 'Craspedia Heaven' because the basis of this classical hand-tied bouquet is made with one of my favorite flowers: the Craspedia. I love these small 'drumsticks' that look like tiny bees flying around the bouquet. The other complementary flowers and greens provide a very nice background for this simple, but very special flower.

I tied this bouquet with the traditional spiral technique. This is a way of arranging stems in a bouquet to create a round, balanced shape. It involves placing each stem at an angle, one over the other, forming a spiral pattern. As you add each new flower or foliage, you twist the whole bunch slightly, which keeps the stems arranged in a circular motion. The end result is a bouquet with a fuller appearance and an open structure, allowing the flowers to stand out individually.

Not only does the spiral technique make the bouquet look balanced, but it also helps keep the stems more stable. This method is great for both hand-tied bouquets and vase arrangements. I love to use this technique because it gives a lot of control over how the flowers are displayed, letting me showcase each bloom without crowding.

Before you tie the bouquet, it is important to soak the cut flowers well in advance (I use FloraLife Quick Dip) and to use a flower-holding spray after preparation (like FloraLife finishing touch).

The Flower Effect

According to recent research by the Flower Council of Holland, flowers boost both our physical and mental well-being. Having flowers in the home increases feelings of optimism, happiness, and calm.

For many, summer is a time of relaxation, though it can also be a hectic period filled with holidays, outings, and social obligations. It’s the perfect moment to reflect on our self-care routine and consider the role flowers can play in it.

I hope my summer arrangements are a delightful way to fully embrace the season.
