When the concepts of the future and the environment come together, fear and dystopia often emerge. The mistreatment humanity has inflicted upon the planet paints a picture of difficult times ahead – unless we begin to see nature itself as a driving force for change. What if the possibility of a better future lies in learning from our natural surroundings?
Festival FLORA in Córdoba, Spain, reflects on the future – the one many fear and the one many dream of, the one we are told about and the one that should be, the one designed by scientists and imagined by artists. There are many possible futures, and in its eighth edition, FLORA seeks to explore and discuss them all. Here's the full itinerary of the festival, spanning from October 13th to 23rd, 2025.
What Festival FLORA Is About
Festival FLORA is the world’s leading event dedicated to contemporary floral and botanical art, transforming Córdoba’s historic patios into living works of art. Its eighth edition reflects on the intersection of future and environment, exploring how nature itself can become a motor of change and inspiration for a better tomorrow.
Through five large-scale floral installations, performances, workshops, and talks, the festival connects art, science, and sustainability — bringing together international artists and the public in a celebration of creativity and ecological consciousness. Organized by Zizai Cultura, this event turns Córdoba into a center of botany, art, and a floral wonderland.
