Fleurs de Villes's 'WONDER', A Floral Series Inspired by the Natural Wonders of the World

Taking place at the VanDusen Botanical Garden with a brand-new floral exhibition, you can't miss it! It will be running until May 31st.

Vancouver-based and internationally recognized floral show producer Fleurs de Villes is returning to VanDusen Botanical Garden with a brand-new floral exhibition: Fleurs de Villes WONDER, taking place from May 22–31, 2026.

As the city prepares to welcome visitors from around the world during the FIFA World Cup, this new open-air floral experience will celebrate global unity and environmental stewardship through large-scale installations inspired by rare and awe-inspiring natural wonders. Each creation will be designed entirely with fresh flowers by local floral artists.

Global Floral Show Sensation Fleurs de Villes Announces WONDER, a Floral Series Inspired by the Natural Wonders of the World

Set throughout the different themed areas of VanDusen Botanical Garden, visitors will be taken on a virtual journey around the world through a floral trail featuring more than 20 floral mannequins and installations inspired by some of nature’s most extraordinary wonders. From iconic natural landmarks and unique ecosystems to rare botanical treasures and striking natural phenomena, each installation will be created entirely in fresh flowers.

Among the highlights will be a giant floral octopus representing the Great Barrier Reef displayed in one of the garden’s lakes, as well as a large-scale beehive installation presented by Amica Senior Lifestyles, celebrating the importance of pollinators. Other featured creations will include interpretations of the California superbloom and additional natural marvels from around the world.

The exhibition will also offer educational moments for visitors of all ages, bringing attention to topics such as conservation, climate change, biodiversity, and environmental stewardship through floral art and storytelling.

Beyond the floral trail, guests can enjoy a series of special activations throughout the garden. Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, the event’s exclusive hotel partner, will present a pop-up selfie installation, and visitors will also be able to purchase the hotel’s well-known scones on May 23 and 24. Additional food and beverage experiences will include Uno Gelato, the BistrotVan crêpe truck, and a CoffeeBike espresso bar. At the on-site Shaughnessy Restaurant, chef Pavlo Onopriienko will introduce a special menu featuring floral-inspired touches.

Floral Experiences, Workshops, and Seasonal Highlights

In addition to the floral installations, visitors will be able to explore a fresh flower market available on weekends, along with daily floral demonstrations and workshops hosted inside the 'Jardin' marquee. Guests can also browse exclusive Fleurs de Villes merchandise available in the gift shop throughout the event.

A special Fan Favourite voting contest will also take place during the exhibition, giving visitors the opportunity to win Mastercard VIP tickets to Cirque du Soleil’s LUZIA: A Waking Dream of Mexico, opening in Vancouver on November 4, 2026. The exhibition arrives during one of the most colorful moments of the year at VanDusen Botanical Garden. Visitors will experience the gardens in full seasonal bloom, including vibrant perennial displays, flowering magnolias, rhododendrons, and the garden’s well-known yellow laburnum walk.

New for this year, Fleurs de Villes WONDER will also include a satellite installation at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Located in the hotel lobby, the display will represent Haida Gwaii as one of the world’s natural wonders, offering downtown visitors a preview of the larger exhibition taking place at VanDusen Botanical Garden. Fairmont will also present a floral mannequin inspired by the Great Bear Rainforest as part of the main show.

Through each one-of-a-kind floral installation, Fleurs de Villes WONDER aims to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the natural world through large-scale floral artistry, inviting visitors to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with nature in an immersive way.
