In the world of floral design, few artists possess the storytelling power and imagination of Kristina Rimienė. Based in Lithuania, Kristina has established herself as a warm and knowledgeable figure in the international floral scene, renowned not only for her technical mastery but also for the poetic emotion that runs through every installation she creates.
A Visionary From Lithuania
Whether it's an oversized flower sculpture rising in a town square or a delicately styled bridal bouquet, Kristina’s work always balances between fantasy and finesse. Her floral language is bold yet gentle, structured yet emotional—always unmistakably hers.
From Studio to Stage, Screen, and Festival Grounds
As the founder of Kristina Rimiene Floral Studio, she had created a space where dreams became reality. Sadly, COVID changed plans, and the studio closed. But maybe it was a good thing, too. The studio was a creative hub where flowers were shaped into concepts, emotions, and often theatrical expressions. From commercial work to large-scale public installations and stage designs, Kristina turned flowers into storytelling tools.
Her artistic world now reaches into television. In Lithuania, Kristina is widely known for her popular TV show, where she creates floral delights that inspire viewers to see flowers in a new light. Through the screen, she shares techniques, seasonal ideas, and floral philosophy, making design accessible to all while elevating the art form. Her presence on TV has helped bring floristry into living rooms across the country—and into the hearts of many.
In addition to her work on screen, Kristina is now bringing floral art into a new realm: the Rose Festival in Paežeriai, Vilkaviškis. Organized in close collaboration with the local city and cultural partners, this upcoming event will celebrate the timeless beauty of roses through artistic displays, performances, and community involvement. It’s yet another example of how Kristina uses flowers to connect people, places, and emotions.

The Rose Festival at Paezeriu Manor
Paežeriai Manor is a historical estate located in my country, Lithuania. The Manor is a cultural center of Vilkaviškis District Municipality. Dating back to the 18th century, it's an important cultural and architectural landmark in the region.

The estate comprises a main manor house, various outbuildings, and a landscaped park. Paežeriai Manor has undergone restoration and serves as a venue for cultural events, exhibitions, and as a tourist attraction, showcasing the heritage and history of the area. This year, Kristina will not only design herself, but also invite Regine Motmans, Floral Connector at Thursd, and international floral designers Ania Norwood, Beata Kaas, and Iwona Kwiatek. It promises to be amazing. Keep an eye on the recap next week.

Sharing Her Floral Passion With the World
What makes Kristina unique is her ability to connect cultures through flowers. She brings Baltic soulfulness to global platforms, from Europe to Asia and beyond. Her participation in collaborative projects, such as the 52nd Otmuchów Flower Festival in Poland, highlights her generous spirit and openness to floral friendships that transcend borders.
