West Coast Flower Picking Farms

The flowers on the West Coast are as noteworthy as the scenery, making them ideal for strolls in the spring and summer as well as amazing photo opportunities. Take note of these places!

Andreotti Family Farms

Andreotti Family Farms' pick-your-own sunflower fields in Half Moon Bay, about 30 minutes south of San Francisco, provide a distinctive fall ritual. Visitors can explore the tall sunflower fields from early September to November, choosing up to five stems per ticket.

EarthSpoke Farms

Located on California's Mendocino coast, EarthSpoke Farms welcomes guests to its 10-acre sanctuary for its seasonal 'U-Pick Flower Field Days'. The $50 ticket includes six pre-harvested Dahlias and a dozen hand-picked stems, and guests can walk among rows of snapdragons, Zinnias, and Dahlias. Additional flowers can be purchased. (Alternatively, you can pay $10 to just take in the fields in bloom.)

Beeline Blooms Farms

The Beeline Blooms Farm, located in scenic Northern California, offers a $30 U‑pick bouquet experience, including tools, instruction, and a jar to take home. You can also stroll the fields without cutting—perfect for enjoying the ambiance

Southern Flower Picking Farms

Visit these flower-picking farms in the Southern United States to experience the Southern charm, along with armfuls of flowers to bring home.

Hubert Family Farms

Every March, Hubert Family Farms in New Market, AL, plants more than 60 different types of tulips, drawing inspiration from Dutch tulip fields. During tulip picking season, the farm opens its gates, offering small-town charm and festive photo opportunities, but don't miss the chance of picking out sunflowers as the fall season approaches.

Burnside Farms

Burnside Farms in Northern Virginia provides sunflower picking in late summer and tulip picking in the spring. Your ticket includes three flowers during sunflower season; extra sunflowers can be purchased for $1.50 per stem. (There may also be Cosmos and Zinnias available for 0.50 cents per stem!)

Sweetfields Farm

During the seasons, guests can cut their own flowers at Sweetfields Farm, which is less than an hour from Tampa, Florida. In addition, the farm offers all the equipment needed for a sunny, flower-filled journey and hosts seasonal events.

Home Again Flowers

Every day from July through September, visitors of all ages are welcome to cut their own flowers in this family-run half-acre flower field in Hartville, Ohio, from sunrise to sunset. Home Again Flowers stand's self-serve setup comes with water cups, scissors, and directions. Additionally, there are picnic tables and a free little library available to visitors, which makes it the ideal place to read a book or arrange flowers.

The Ohio Flower Girls

During regular business hours, The Ohio Flower Girls' pick-your-own flower patch is open at The Pickwick Place, a historic horse farm that has been transformed into a market and event venue. To create one-of-a-kind bouquets, guests can select and trim their stems. The nearby market, which has a café and vendor stalls, adds to the experience.

Holland Ridge Farms

Visit Holland Ridge Farms in New Jersey to get a taste of Holland. With 300 acres of sunflowers and tulips, this family-run farm hosts pick-your-own events in the spring and fall. During seasonal events, guests can enjoy food trucks and more, with tickets starting at $15.
