United Selections believes a colorful future is possible when the flowers they breed can infuse happiness into people's lives worldwide. To foster the benefits of flowers and invite people into their breeding activities, they collaborated with the talented floral designer and influencer Alina Neacsa. The main goal was to tell their story in an engaging yet inspiring way, to share and bring their colors to the spotlight.
It's been five years already! Five years of passion, intriguing narratives, and pioneering new and exciting rose varieties. There are many memorable encounters to look back on, which is why the rose breeder is excited to celebrate this milestone.
2019, When It All Started
The first project Alina Neacsa worked on was a joint effort by Thursd, Alina, and United Selections in 2019. This was during the market introduction and branding of their new white rose, Rose Adalonia. Looking back at this project today, United Selections is happy to see how the rose developed and positioned itself in the market over the years.
The first project Alina Neacsa worked on was a joint effort by Thursd, Alina, and United Selections in 2019. This was during the moment of celebration of the first 5 years of the successful launch of their new white rose, Rose Adalonia. It was back then introduced by an exclusive group of rose growers from Kenya, and from 2019 onwards released to other growers as well. Looking back at this project today, United Selections is happy to see how the rose developed and positioned itself in the market over the years.
Since then, they have collaborated on different projects from sponsoring Alina's master classes, highlighting specific rose varieties, and conceptualizing United Selections' story and sharing it with the world. Jelle Posthumus, United Selections' CEO praises Alina's creativity and passion for what she does and she credits the great synergy they have created in the five years to her dedication to her craft and the need to make it better always.
"Her creative vision has helped us present our work in a new light, connecting our breeding innovations to the joy we want to bring into the world through flowers."
This collaboration underscores the need to build stories that resonate, convey emotions, and spread the joy of flowers to the world. This is the ideal 'flower feeling moment' for every consumer and flower enthusiast out there.
From Kenya, Europe to Latin America
Being the only breeder, who does its initial breeding, testing, and selection in Kenya, United Selections was keen to share its innovations with the world in 2022. Alina Neacsa brought this to the limelight, capturing the essence of breeding a colorful future and sharing what goes on behind the scenes to breed, test, select, and introduce award-winning rose varieties.
Their collaboration transcends geographical boundaries, as witnessed recently during Alina's visit to the breeder's new show house in Ecuador. Her visit captured United Selections' global breeding efforts and commitment to innovation and sustainability in the flower industry. Through her lens, she has created an impact one story at a time and achieved incredible brand and product awareness for the rose breeder.
Recent Projects From Alina Neacsa
The promotion of signature rose varieties like Rose Nova Vita and the new one Rose Cafecita, are some of the recent projects Alina Neacsa delivered for United Selections. Through her creativity, she highlighted the unique traits of these roses effectively.
For instance, Rose Cafecita's commercial not only showcases the beauty of this coffee-colored rose but creates a befitting narrative and emotion for it. Isinya Roses- Porini is the grower of this rose and it is worth noting that Alina's creativity gave it a great entrance into the floral world.

The Future, What to Look Forward to
United Selections hinted that for the coming year, their collaboration with Alina Neacsa will possibly take them to Colombia, and thereafter back to Kenya. This partnership is of great value and the rose breeder is keen to keep it up to continue sharing their story, and innovation with the floral community.
