Once again I had a fabulous time at AIFD Symposium, new inspiration, energy, techniques, meeting old and new friends, and designing together. I enjoyed it all.

The American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) 2025 Symposium, themed 'Reflection', lit up Palm Springs this July—an experience where the global floral community flourished and the next generation of designers found fertile ground for growth.

The Heart of Education: Workshops & Mastery

At 'Reflection', floral education stepped beyond the classroom. Hands-on workshops buzzed with creative energy, guided by internationally acclaimed masters. New design directions, sustainable techniques, and creative business insights all wove into a rich curriculum.

Community at the Core: Giving & Growing Together

The 'Reflection' symposium reimagined connection. The Ambassador Experience was a highlight, pairing floral newcomers with icons of the industry in volunteer roles—transformational for both groups.

Global Inspiration, Lasting Impact

With 767 designers from 23 countries and 43 states in attendance, 'Reflection' was a vivid illustration of floristry’s universal language. Collaboration and new friendships sparked inspiration, and the ripple effect of shared ideas promises to shape trends far beyond Palm Springs.

Reflection: The Gift Flowers Give

Above all, 'Reflection' was a call to every designer: through sharing, learning, and giving back, we create not just beautiful arrangements but enduring communities. The symposium’s blend of education, volunteerism, and global exchange demonstrated why floristry is so much more than an art—it’s a way to brighten the world, one bloom at a time.

For the global floral community, the impact of 'Reflection' is clear: growth, inspiration, and connection that will continue to flourish long after the petals fall.
