Green. Leaves. Nature. These elements have a unique power to inspire, soothe, and bring us closer to our roots. Green is the color of life itself—a symbol of harmony, balance, and the natural world that surrounds us.
Recently, I had the pleasure of working with exquisite natural leaves from TAK Global. Their diverse textures and vibrant shades of green transported me to an exotic paradise. And because joy is meant to be shared, I channeled that inspiration into creating designs for someone dear and young, someone from the generation that often feels disconnected from nature.
Two Green Bouquets
My creations included two bouquets, a fascinator hat, and a statement earring, all crafted from leaves with Generation Z and Alpha in mind. These young souls need guidance to reconnect with nature, to feel its presence, and to celebrate it. Because nature invites us to dream, breathe fresh air, and find peace within ourselves.

Jewelry made from natural, plant-based materials has always been my passion. So, I started with the fascinator and earrings. The earring, crafted from an Aspidistra leaf, exuded elegance in its simplicity. The fascinator was more intricate—a satin-wrapped wire base adorned with layers of leaves attached using a meticulous gluing technique.
The moment my young model tried on my creations, her face lit up with a radiant smile, her eyes gleaming with pure joy. That moment alone made all the effort worthwhile.

A Rewarding Experience
Creating the bouquets was an equally rewarding experience. The first was a fresh, spiral bouquet made from well-shaped leaves—perfect for everyday gifting.
The second bouquet introduced a concept I cherish: 'leftovers'. In the world of plant-based art, nothing is truly waste. Leaves or flowers that may seem discarded still hold potential for beauty. With creativity and care, even a single leaf, petal, or pistil can become part of something remarkable.
Using the glamelia technique, I carefully selected the most pristine leaves, layering them on a base made from recycled cardboard and wire. The result was a radial bouquet—unique and elegant, ideal for special occasions or even as a bridal bouquet.

Captivated by the Beauty
My model, a vibrant 18-year-old, like so many of her generation, prefers screens and indoor comfort. Taking her outside for this shoot, surrounded by natural creations, was something unusual for her. I promised it would be quick.
But as soon as I adorned her with the leafy designs, her enthusiasm soared. We lost track of time, captivated by the beauty of both the leaves and her youthful glow.

Once again, I witnessed the power of natural leaves—the energy they radiate, their refreshing scent, and the undeniable joy they bring.
Nature has a magic that speaks to all of us. We just need to take a moment to listen.
