About Gova

Gova is a member of Decorum. Like all other members, this grower is carefully selected with one aim: to grow plants of the highest quality under the brand name of Decorum. Gova is a family-run enterprise. The nursery was established by Charles Goossens senior in 1932 to cultivate fruit and vegetables. The company added laurus to its range in 1979. Brothers Charl and Jack Goossens now run the company and with 25 hectares they are Europe’s largest laurus specialist. Gova may only grow one product; however, their range is still extensive. Their basic product is the so-called kitchen laurus. These are available in the classic ‘sphere-on-stem’ and ‘pyramid’ shapes, as well as in numerous other forms and sizes. Gova is service orientated, flexible, and thinks in tandem with the client. A true quality breeder. Their kitchen laurus meet the very strict requirements of MPS Vita Certa and are certified food-safe.
