About Wijnen Anthuriums
At the age of 19, Joan took over the company from father Jan, which at the time was 6,000 m2. The family business now consists of an area of over 5 hectares. The management consists of Joan and Nancy Wijnen, who have passionately cultivated high-quality anthuriums for more than 30 years. Thanks to years of experience and the wide range of more than 35 different types, they can respond perfectly to the demand of all customers. The anthuriums are available in various sizes, lengths, and packaging options (in boxes or on water, possibly also with extra-long stems). They are delivered fresh daily at the FloraHolland auction in Aalsmeer, Rijnsburg, Eelde, and Herongen. In addition, they think it is important to become sustainable, for this we will collectively use a wood stove and the use of gas will be reduced by 1,000,000 m3. The anthuriums are also grown organically to the maximum.
