Karen Roses Limited is a flower production business founded in 1989 with 6 rose farms in Kenya and a well-recognized name in the industry for producing quality roses all year round. The main farms are located at Eldama Ravine in the Rift Valley with a near-perfect location and ecological environment for rose cultivation.
The Flowers of Karen Roses
Karen Roses grows three kinds of roses on the farm:
- T- hybrids: these are large-headed and very long length varieties. They are the premium varieties. Their production per sqm is low and therefore it costs more to produce a stem and consequently, the price per stem tends to be quite high. They are however excellent varieties to use when you want to make a statement.
- Intermediates: these are the medium-sized head varieties but with exceptional vase life. When bunched they are a great present to take along when going over to see friends for dinner.
- Sprays: these are small-headed varieties however, each stem will have multiple heads. This variety is ideal for bouquet arrangements.
Our roses come in 6 color groups; white, red, ceres, pink, yellow, orange, and bi-color.
