The nursery, located in Heerhugowaard (North-Holland), is automated, which allows them to respond quickly to customer-specific wishes and market trends and developments. This is supported by their own breeding and propagation program. The best plant characteristics are combined to create new varieties, which are extensively tested not only for the color and size of the flower but also for longevity and natural disease resistance. At Slijkerman Kalanchoë the environment is treated with respect, and sustainability is considered a priority.
